Le débat
Le débat, an original idea of WATHI, aims to stimulate in-depth collective thinking about a crucial issue for the present and the future of West African society.
The question of Le débat is formulated by WATHI and developed in an introductory note. It consists of articles and comments on these articles made by citizens as well as non-citizens of the WATHI Zone. They will share practical/concrete observations, analysis, and recommendations.
Articles can be short (500 to 1000 words) or long (1500 to 2000 words). Although the maximum number of words is 2000, short articles are more likely to be published by WATHI. Each article should be accessible to the general public and well structured. Articles should be sent along with a short biography (50-word maximum), and ideally, a high-quality photo of the author.
WATHI puts an emphasis on quality when it comes to the form as well as the content and thus cannot guarantee the publication of all the articles submitted. However, WATHI members in charge of the debate will carefully identify texts that are interesting and relevant, yet need to be revised before being suitable for publication.
The ideas in the contributions are those of the author. The publication of an article does not imply that WATHI endorses or approves the ideas and opinions of the author.
